Early in the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel in Panama City by your private driver and transferred for approximately 20 minutes to Flamenco Marina on Causeway Amador, where you will embark on a 40-seat comfortable and fast catamaran ferry.

You will be first passing by the container loading and off-loading facilities within the Panama Canal. You will be navigating underneath the Bridge of the Americas, which joins North and South America. As you exit the Panama Canal, you will be cruising alongside the Amador Causeway (old U.S. Fort Amador) and the Biodiversity Museum.

On this boat ride of approximately 90 minutes towards the Pearl Islands, you will have a good chance of coming across pods of porpoises. Between July and September, you will be able to admire the Humpback Whales who will be gathering in the warm waters of the Pearl Islands Archipelago, where they give birth to their calves!

At around 10:30 hrs you will reach Isla Bolaños in the Archipelago of the Pearl Islands. You will be greeted by the island’s staff and receive welcome snacks and on-site briefing on the installations.

With your day pass, you may enjoy the island and resort area with private changing areas and bathrooms, relax in your beach lounge chair, take a stroll through the pristine white-sand beaches, swim in the warm turquoise waters, and enjoy complimentary activities such as island nature trails, beach soccer matches, beach volleyball tournaments, and snorkeling (we recommend bringing your own equipment).

At additional cost, you may enjoy further activities during your stay, such as SUP (standup paddle) or an island and beach hopping boat tour around the archipelago with a private boat captain (reservations required with a minimum of 24 hours in advance notice, subject to availability).

Midafternoon, you will board the catamaran ferry for a 1.5 – 2-hour boat ride back to Panama City. Upon disembarking the boat, your driver will be waiting for you for a short transfer back to your hotel in Panama City (15-20 minutes).

Note: This tour does not include a guide. Children of 4 years or younger join the tour for free if accompanied by an adult, and the expense for their lunch can be paid directly on Isla Bolaños, while guests older than 5 years have lunch included in their day pass.
